As we launched at Riverton Bridge on the Canning River, we noticed a pair of dolphins cruising upstream. We must have followed them all the way up to the Kent Street Weir where we saw them again. Pel Turner is quietly waiting for another glimpse of them, but they turned around and silently ducked below the 11 kayaks to pop up downstream.
